Slice it Up is a tool that cuts footage in any number of slices vertically against the duplicated N times and apply random masks wide. Those pieces together in a composition later and placed on one another to create an image without distortion. The tool provides controls to establish a random or linear displacement positions X, Y and Z for each sector, adjusts rotation angles and expansion for the mask.
One of the things that provides more flexible Slice It Up is the ability to randomize sectors in the panel user interface at any time. If you do not like the width of your slices and you fancy a change, simply press the “random width” button. If the random position is not to your taste, then perform randomization at any time without losing the keyframes even after closing and opening the project.
