The GForce Oddity 2 v1.00 | Mac OS X | REPACK-IND | May 23, 2017 | 53 MB.
Oddity2 is the successor to the Oddity awarded multiple awards, inspired by the legendary ARP Odyssey synthesizer, manufactured between 1972 and 1981.
During his lifetime odyssey, because of its versatile and distinctive tones, it was used by artists as diverse as Gary Numan, John Foxx, Herbie Hancock, Kraftwerk, Chick Corea, Roger Powell, George Duke, 808 State and countless others. Billy Currie of Ultravox refers to it as the “first synth punk” because of its aggressive growl, thanks in part to a ring modulator onboard oscillator and duophonic synchronization capabilities.
Sporting a new livery based on the final revision Odyssey, Oddity2 takes the character and architecture of the original operating via a wave of enhancements, conveys the spirit of the original in a new dimension.
First, while duofónicos and monophonic modes have been retained, Oddity2 now also offers a monophonic legato mode that was not evident in the Odyssey, plus a polyphonic mode. Yes, now you can finally stop wondering what classic sounds of the Odyssey would sound in the context of chordbased structures, and implement it. Everything from stippled textures and resonant sounds to lush, warm pads, can be programmed from the intuitive controls Oddity2 or just marked through the attachment presets.
In addition, through three filter modes and an additional oscillator, Oddity2 may sound so versatile and sharp as his main rival in the day.
Oddity2 does not stop there either, in order to overcome the limitation of the original instrument of a single LFO, we also added the possibility of applying an additional LFO and ADSR to almost any of the major sliders Oddity2, which gives the almost unrivaled instrument versatility and depth when it comes to sound design options.
Other improvements over its predecessor include delayed board, propagation or modes random bread transformation patch through times or second recognition program change and implementation switch transposing two octaves for dynamic performances in real time .
Oddity2 is based on few words on the importance and the offspring of the original instruments hardware and software, taking its fundamental sonic character and, through a series of musical improvements carefully considered, transplanting it into the hands of savvy musicians to take both familiar and new horizons.
