Syncovery (previously Super Flexible File Synchronizer) – an application designed to perform backup tasks and synchronize PCs, servers, notebooks, and online storage. The app allows you to create an unlimited number of profiles, groups, and perform the work to synchronize or backup automatically or manually.
Save your data and synchronize Macs, servers, notebooks, and cloud storage.
You can set up as many jobs as you need and start the synchronization manually or using the scheduler. Syncovery works on local hard disks, network drives and any other mounted disks. In addition, it comes with support for FTP, SSH, HTTP, WebDAV, Amazon S3, and Google Docs. You can use ZIP compression and data encryption. There are advanced synchronization modes, including the creation of an exact mirror and SmartTracking.
Syncovery has carefully designed graphical interface, which makes it extremely versatile for synchronization and backup. The wealth of features fulfills all the requirements of users at the same time easy to use.
List of Functions:
Below, a description of the most important features Syncovery. To get a complete picture of the existing functions, it is recommended to download the software, try to work and look directly onto the existing possibilities. We are proud to say that this is one of the most comprehensive file synchronization tools available on the market today.
Synchronize or copy files and complete folder structures and files in different locations, such as the PC, Macs, laptops, or online cloud storage. There is no limit on the file size, number of files, or filename length. The program fully supports Unicode characters supported by copying the file name in all languages.
Each synchronization task is saved as a profile so that you can make the settings once and use all the time.
With one click, you can run multiple profiles. You can also run profiles from the command line.
Profiles can be created using a wizard, or in advanced mode.
Copying multiple files in parallel.
1 can be copied to file 10 in parallel. This can significantly speed up. Simply enter the number of simultaneous streams, the Files tab when editing the profile in the advanced mode.
Schedule the synchronization of data to a backup hard disk at a convenient time each day, or often as you want. You can also schedule a shutdown profiles on the computer or exit the session. The scheduler may run different tasks in parallel or in series.
Internet Support and Cloud.
Supports various Internet protocols, including FTP, FTPS, SFTP / SSH, WebDAV, SSL, HTTP, as well as these cloud services: Amazon S3 and compatible services, Microsoft Azure, Rackspace Cloud Files, Microsoft OneDrive (known previously as the SkyDrive), Google Drive and Google Docs, DropBox, Box.com, and others.
It supports compression and encryption.
It is easy to compress your files and encrypt them resistant to 256-bit AES encryption. To decompress and decrypt, simply use the Restore Wizard, or run the profile to copy and copy in the opposite direction.
Recognizes Moving Files.
If you re-organize your folders and files by moving them to different locations, Syncovery detect this and quickly make the re-organization of the structure of folders and files on the other side of sync without removing and re-copy the files.
This operating mode has been designed for two-way synchronization. In this mode, a database of all the files involved in the synchronization and Syncovery automatically detect and remove conflicts when two-way synchronization. The Configure button, you have access to a dialogue where SmartTracking adjusts how to act in different situations that may arise in the course of two-way synchronization.
Full Mirror Mode.
This operating mode has been designed for one-way synchronization. In addition to copying the new files, this mode can also delete files that no longer exist on the side of the original source, and it may replace older new files if necessary to create a complete mirror.
In this mode, when the profile is not set no questions. All relevant parameters can be set before the start of the synchronization in the profile settings.
Copying locked files.
On Macintosh and Linux, locked files can also be copied because the operating system does not hold the lock nomalno as implemented in Windows.
This feature allows you to store multiple older versions of each file for backup. There are several schemes for naming files.
Copying a block-level (or delta copy / partial file update):
This feature copies only the changed portions of files in order to increase the speed of synchronization. See. Copying a block-level
Secure database mode:
This mode requires exclusive access to the copied files. If exclusive access is not possible it will be used by VSS, or the program will wait until it receives exclusive access to the file.
You can use the Recycle Bin
for older versions of files that are overwritten on top, as well as for deleted files. This makes it possible to recover overwritten or deleted files. By default, recycle bin is used to remove but not for the updated files. These settings can be changed in profile.
File Masks & Filters.
Available are many ways to select and hide files and folders synchronization.
Summer Time / Time Zone.
Rarely proiskhoryat problems when copying within the same time zone UTC / World, but if happens that your files is different timestamp (timestamp) value of 1 hour, in the program there is an option to ignore the temporary difference and acceptance that the files are identical, provided that the file size the same, and the difference in time exactly 1 hour (or hours difference than the maximum permitted number of hours).
Continued When the disk is full.
You increase disk space and specify Syncovery continue copying. Syncovery can make a pause in the middle of the file and wait until freed up more space.
Fixes jobs that use Microsoft Azure, or WebDAV with library 2 to fail today because of a leap day related bug in one of the libraries.
Fixes Filename Encoding to work with Microsoft OneDrive, which disallows the semicolon as part of filenames used in the API
Removes the restriction of a 30% file deletion limit when mounted volumes are used
Now retries a profile if the folders are not ready at first and a (possibly bogus) “volume unmount” is detected
