Advanced Polygonal modeling
Silo offers a comprehensive set of interactive and context-sensitive rapid traverse for modeling tools. Workflow focuses on having a powerful and intelligent tools, rather than a command or separate option for every conceivable function. In addition, the functionality of “sticky key” allows tools to behave differently if you hold down a key shortcut. The main modeling tools include Break, Tweak, Cut, Bevel, Slide, Scale, Extrude, Polygon Tool, Edge Tool, unlimited undo and redo and more. Modeling can be performed with or without handles, including the Universal Manipulator combining rotate, scale and translate into a single manipulator.
Complete selection tools
Robust selection tools are the key to a great modeling, and a quick look at the menu selection shows that the development of Silo has focused heavily in this area. Some highlights? The multiple selection mode enables users to select vertices, edges and faces without changing selection modes. The Tweak selection allows the user to grip, move and deselect a component with one click. And many other tools that work with soft selection, which changes smoothly distributed through a form. types of paint selection, and loop area allowed. This includes full customization of the mouse, keyboard and graphical interface, allowing you to emulate closely other applications that a user may be familiar with, or perform tasks (assign up to 40 different commands to a typical mouse modifiers keyboard) that no other application can. Favorite tricks include assigning undo / redo, the selection of growth / contraction, and the scroll wheel, or simply put frequently used commands on the right mouse button with modifiers. Pages Silo button allow users to create their own multipage interfaces and assign any command to any image. The interface and color scheme are also highly customizable. Customizations can be imported, exported and easily share. Even the Primitives menu can be customized with the most widely used models or configurations.
Advanced UV Edition
Silo offers multiple types of unpacking, including LSCM, Planar Region, XYZ, per side, and neighbors who heals UVs based on the UVs based on the surrounding area. Different methods of unpacking can even be used in parts of the same mesh for optimum results. UVs are retained during modeling operations, so the modeling and UV editing can be exchanged freely with little or no cleaning. Displacement maps and normal maps can be generated and exported from any level of subdivision, or even from two completely separate objects.
With the popularity of scroll painting Silo and other applications, as well as the common use of 3D scanners, modelers are frequently asked to create a new model with a well-formed high-poly shape for reference. This process is often referred to as retopologización, and Silo topology tool provides an innovative solution to allow users to draw directly a new topology on an object using a tool like a pen. Silo also offers Surface Snapping, which converts each tool in a tool to adjust the geometry topology edited to an underlying form and surface tool, which allows users to extract and interactively adjust polygon strips.
Complex scenes can be easily managed in Shiloh through the scene editor, showing the scene in a tree and allows editing of objects in layers and groups. The selection, the display mode, the lock and visibility can be quickly changed from the publisher.
Silo provides precise digital control of the position, rotation, scale, size, distance and angle selected by numeric Editor geometry.
Three modes are available in lace powerful Silo. The lace grid network fits customizable work, lace component fits vertices, edges and faces of an object and the fitting surface is smoothed to the surface of unsorted objects. These adjustment modes affect almost all geometry editing commands.
