Pseudo Effect Maker v1.0.1 – Plug-in for Adobe After Effects | Mac OS X | 2MB.
Pseudo Effect Maker offers a simple and easy to use interface that allows you to develop, organize and implement controls customized effects quickly and easily. These controls can be used to direct expressions and layers in your After Effects project and be saved as presets to quickly reuse them or for others to use the tools that you create.
What is a pseudo effect?
A pseudo-effect is also known as a “control custom expression.” After Effects has several controls incorporated expression, however, all are separated individually. This means that if you need to use multiple controls for your project, each will have to be added separately, so you can quickly get messy and disorganized.
A pseudo effect lets you create a custom group of controls that can be named and organized as you want and make your expression controls are easier to work and look more like the built-in effects.
Now that I have my Pseudo effect, how I can hide incorporated I’m controlling effects?
Pseudo Effect are just simple controllers. They can connect to other effects and properties through expressions and allow you to set custom limits and defaults, but will not replace anything. Without the actual effects present, control will do nothing and, for the moment, there is no way to hide effects on the effects panel.
