Mirror for Philips TV is used to mirror your Mac’s screen to any Philips Smart TV. No wires or additional hardware is required! The program works on any Philips Smart TV starting from the 2012 models.
When using the application, the delay of the display will be about a second. Therefore, the application is not suitable for games. Nevertheless, the program is suitable for watching movies, presentations, viewing photos, and much more! The quality of the displayed picture will depend on the quality of your local network.
A few tips for improving results:
It is advisable to connect the TV to the router (router) using a LAN cable.
Use the “AC” router. If this is not the case, the router is “N”.
Try not to overload the WiFi network by moving large files while you are using the application.
How the application works:
After launching the application, you will see that the application icon appears on the top line of your Mac’s menu, next to the clock. Click on it and you will see a list of options:
Here we will scan your home network for connecting Philips Smart TV. If the TV is on the same network as your Mac, it will be displayed here. To start mirroring
Screen, select the model of your Philips TV from this peep.
Under the Displays, you will see all your monitors. The main display of your Mac, as well as other connected monitors (if any). Please select the monitor that you want to mirror on the Philips TV screen.
Enabling Audio (Sound): you can choose whether you want to hear sound on your Mac or through the Philips TV speakers.
If you experience problems with the application, this may be due to the fact that your local network can not cope with the video data that the application sends from the Mac to the TV. You can choose a lower network quality and try again.
