The WCC V is a reincarnation of the first digital sampling system commercially available in music history: the sonic engine behind many Megahits the MTV era. We even made an extra effort and added new creative features that were not possible in the day.
With a new, exotic sound of digital samples, the promise of a digital workstation in one and a physical design of a science fiction movie, the CMI Fairlight was an object of desire for most keyboardists eighties . Countless musicians and producers weighed the risks of a bank robbery to pay. It is not necessary today. Our faithful recreation gives you the same tools that many of MTV stars used to make a cannonball into the pool. We have even made many improvements and additions that provide more power to the keyboard legend, including an alternative additive synthesis engine and tons of new modulation options. No collection of vintage keyboards is complete without the WCC V.
